What AI Work Observer collects
The principle
This product observes work, never workers. It reconstructs the state of projects — pull requests, reviews, issues, releases — and it does not measure, score, or rank people. There are no individual productivity metrics anywhere in the system, and none will be added.
Collected (metadata-only default)
- Commit metadata: SHAs, refs, commit-message headlines, file paths, diff statistics
- Pull request titles, states, timestamps, branch names, reviewer requests
- Review states (approved / changes requested) and timestamps
- Issue titles, states, and timestamps from the connected tracker
- CI check names, statuses, and conclusions
Never collected by default
- Source code file contents
- Full diffs or patch contents
- Review or issue comment bodies
- Anything from your machine: no time tracking, no screenshots, no activity monitoring
A future opt-in "enhanced analysis" mode can widen collection per workspace; it requires an explicit admin decision and states exactly what it adds before it is enabled.
Evidence, corrections, deletion
- Every conclusion the product shows carries an evidence line naming the rule and observations behind it. Uncertainty and missing data are disclosed, not papered over.
- Any member can dismiss a signal; dismissals are visible, not silent.
- Workspace owners can delete the entire workspace from the dashboard. Deletion is immediate and cascades through all stored data — integrations, events, pull requests, tracker items, and feedback.
- Raw webhook deliveries are retained for replay/debugging with a proposed 90-day limit (see the repository's ADR-006), and always die with the workspace.
- Invitation records keep the invited email address so owners and admins can see who was invited and the audit trail stays complete; the shared audit trail itself only ever shows a masked form. These records are deleted with the workspace.
